I have just finished doing my foot boxes & trans tunnel in FAT MAT INSULATION
its a mat that has a alloy face .mastic thermo centre
you just cut to size & then remove the backing & refit my brother put me onto it has they use it to insulate boat exhausts & heat proof walls rated to 400deg so I put 2 layers just in case
the roll was 10metres long & 600mmm wide
