I used Lizard Skin ceramic insulation. Cost is about the same a Fat Mat. very easy to apply with a brush or sprayer. No seams. And goes around compound curves with ease. Works really well. After a 20 min track session on a hot day, the carpet is still cool.

I use ThermoTec CoolIt for my interior. It is thermal and acoustic. Check their website, they have several other products as well. For other apps, like under hood wiring that passes near exhaust headers, I can always find what I need from McMaster Carr. They have a load of heat shield products and wire wraps, some that are good to 2200 F.

I don't know if this would work on your car, but I found that thin aluminum sheets with a 3/16" air gap really help keep the heat from the headers off of the footboxes.
