Hi Bernie,
I will want pics as it comes together, these cars just blossom when clad with aluminium, were you a sheetmetal worker by trade or are you just talented?
Cheers,
Harry.

I'm limited in what I can do. I do some of the flat sections, but the rest is left to my good friends at;
www.mcdonaldbrosracing.com.au.
Check out their 'sheet metal' link on the left. They generally do the panels in steel and the client then finishes it by fill and painting. They helped me and we did it in aluminium. I think I spent hours cutting templates, rolling pieces and then pop riviting it all in.
Thanks to Russell, Chris and Lindsay there at the McDonald Brothers racing.
It was not 100% finished when I sold the Cobra but I'm sure Trev will finish it all off.
From memory, I think I enclosed all the final little trim bits for the trunk and internal footwells...
Bernie

When you sold it Bernie, did you include the cordless drill for those rainy days?
Never know when you need a bigger drain hole in the floor.

boxhead,
 .. Mmmmm, no stories now. It did not rain once when I took it out over the last 12 months. The GT40 has been out in only hot sunny weather - you guessed it now I wish I could take the top down..
You may remember being at McDonald Brothers Racing with Garrett and me..
