Default Deleting Images

Hi all,

I'm running close to capacity in my Gallery and need to delete some pics to make room for more.

Can't seem to find a delete key!!!! Any advice?

On another note I had a rare run out in the Cobra last Sunday across to Moograh Dam (looks to be about 50% full!). Car drove extremely well and was very pleased with its handling. Got plenty of looks from the multitude of bikers!

Ran into some rain so took shelter under a Jehovah's Church Porch before finding a disused Servo where my better half took this pic.

The better half is doing well with her photography getting published in a few UK magazines so if you QLD guys want some smick pics let me know and we'll arrange a time to organise some pics.

Obviously the software side of digital photography remains a problem.

Try this link...............

Peter it's actually real easy (believe me, if I can do it with a computer anyone can.) The sequence below I copied and pasted from your gallery. Whenever you open a pic look down at the bottom (where people comment on the pic) of that page and you'll see a block with something like this;

[Ximg]http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/data/500/medium/IMG_0090.JPG[/imgX]

Except without the "X"s at the front and rear. If you copy and past that link into your post it tells the computers to show that linked pic in your post. That's what the "" at the back of the link are for. For instance; if the "X"s are removed from the above link you get this (hope it works):

Hope that helps, Steve

Thanks Steve.

Its all in the X.

Without the X you just get a link - I see (says the blind man)

Now to know how to delete an image as I can't fidn a delete / cut key.

Oh BTW, to answer your initial post; an easy way relieve the problem of pic space is to donate to the operation of Club Cobra. You may want to ask one of the admin guys but I believe anyone who donates to the site gets unlimited pic storage.

To answer you both about deleting: if you open a pic again look at the lower portion of the page and you'll see a few small icons that look like envelopes etc. One of them resembles a tablet with a pencil across it. This is the "edit" button. If you click on that and again look at the lower portion of the page you'll see a small box labeled for deletions. Just use that puppy.

Craig,

Go into your 'Gallery' and double click on the picture which you want to delete.

Then scroll down to the 'Photo Details' and under the heading of 'Medium Image' you will see something similar to
{img}http://clubcobra.com/photopost/data/500.
Highlight that heading by left clicking on it and it will change to a blue colour. Holding the cursor arrow on that blue box, right click and you will find a drop down screen will appear with among other things, the word 'delete' endorsed in it. Left click that 'delete' and your photo is gonsky.

Baz.

Hey Peter, know I know why you let your wife buy all those expensive digital camera things. Those pics look great!

P.s> How often do you 'wax' your Cobra it always looks brand new.

Hi Mike - Good to hear from you!

Jackie has taken off with the photography and I must say she is bloody good.

She's making quite a name for herself in the UK mags

And yes she now has the full box and dice to carry around with her. At first I thought a picture was a picture, but she has the knack of making it an art.

The car gets polished when it gets washed (about every two months), but spends most of its life tucked up in bed (doesn't help with all this rain about).

Still sliding around with that blue dialed machine of yours?
