Another Panorama from ShelbyFest 08
It's taken a while, but I've finally set aside some time to go through my pics from ShelbyFest.
Here's a REDMST panorama to go with STIFFY's previous one
And here's a few others:

Hi Buddy 23
How have you got all the pics on the one frame? They are brilliant.
Or is it a trade secret.
Cheers,
Harry.

Hi Harry,
No trade secret. I just leave my digital camera in servo mode, which takes a shot every second (roughly). Then I use PhotoShop to manually stitch them together.

About half-way through the batch of them now.... but it's time to go and watch some ANZAC Day footy.
More ShelbyFest pics in my gallery for anyone who's interested.

Fantastic work Buddy would love to see the full res versions.
What are the chances of showing them at the next meeting?

Now if you have only caught the spin action, that might make for a very good series??

How did you get so many cars of the same color to follow each other for the picture?
Great work!!

Hi Reptyl,
Unfortunately they are too long and thin to really view them properly on a computer screen (unless I pan across the images). I can bring them along and do that if you like
They're best viewed when printed out on my roll-sheet printer. The one down-side is that consumables make it cost about $1 per cm (if I remember rightly). I've printed out the original STIFFY pano and I'll bring that to the next meet. It's about 210cm long at A3 width.

hehe.... yeah
The Mustang had the off at turn 1 just before I got there. Then a Cobra had an off at the same turn just after I left that corner about 15 mins later. I guess an "action" shot just wasn't meant to be
Actually, I'll be very interested to see how spin footage turns out. I'm not sure whether it will work. Having said that, these are the first car panoramas that I've done and I didn't really expect that they'd align as easily as they did.
I normally just do nature panos ( http://www.flickr.com/photos/7179410@N06) and mountains don't move too far. I was surprised that these panos worked.

Hi Mark,
I guess it's just lucky that we have so many Cobras on the road here in Australia
Actually, each panorama shows the same car. They're a blend of multiple pics taken at approx 1 sec intervals.
