Then we will see you there and can have a chat.

Al's right on the money with testing, as the idea is to use a previously complied engine option.

Bobby's right now that I think about it. The wiring is to sensors not the cats, and I don't know if there is any interplay between these, though I suspect not. But on GM systems haven't they gone to four sensors? Anyway the exhaust system would have to have these sensors in place, but welding screw in points would be cheaper than getting a whole new system.

Again that's what I had done to my non-standard system.

Cheers

Steve

I believe its 4 O2 sensors in the later models, mine is only 2 as it is a VY Sereis II.

Hisson , thanks for the offer on the manifolds, but I managed to track some down yesterday. I also found a guy in Albury who has the cats etc who will send them to me.

Rgds

I went through with Bernie with my own homebuilt exhaust system and aftermarket cats. He does a tailpipe emissions test and a noise test. All OK

Here's the underbody manifolds. These are based on stock Corvette manifolds.

It blitzed the noise test. You can see the single 2" exhaust pipe at the back of the car.

This is how the engine looked at rego time

Cheers

Mike, Glad to hear the emissions thing is not as bad as I first thought.

I have manifolds now and cats on the way so I am looking good.

Have engine/gearbox/exhaust. now - just need chassis :-) still a few weeks away.

Rgds
