FFR Coupe in West Australia
Hey Guys
My FFR 65 Coupe finally turned up. It got a bit damaged in transit but all can be sorted with insurance.
Here's a link to a build thread I have started on the FFR forum.
Aussie Coupe #385 - FFCobra.com - Factory Five Racing Discussion Forum
FFR's kit quality is excellent and the complete kit option is awesome.
I really like the way they packed all nuts and bolts into tagged bags.
It was a no-brainer to convert to RHD aswell. So if anyone is thinking about bringing a FFR kit into Australia give me a call and I'll let you in on how to get it in and all costs involved.

Dave,
There are lots of good kits already here, what was the reason for going Factory Five?
The product looks good, and has a great forum for info also.
Cheers,
Ben

There is a lot of reasons.
1st of all I could not get a Daytona in Oz. That I could afford.
2nd The complete kit cannot be matched by anyone in Oz
3rd Price
4th It so easy to bring in a kit from the USA infact it was easier getting the
the car to WA then getting my DRB from QLD.
5th FFR has a huge community which is great to be part of. Hoping to get over to the States late in the year.
But in the end it was something different and a new challange, I've allways been curious about the USA stuff and now I know it's good.
My sheds open to anyone who wants to check the car out aswell.

These things are becoming prolific.
Sounds like you are off to an excellent start Dave. Bugger about the damage, but hopefully it all sorts itself out in the end.
Thanks for posting a link to your build thread, it will be interesting to watch your build progress.
Talking about buying from the USA, the dollar is at .95844 As you can imagine that's great news for some of us.

FFR Coupe
Hi Dave
I am interested in finding out more about what is involved in the complete option kit for the coupe and the costs / hassles involved ie. customs etc.
Being over in Victoria I am a bit far away so if you can give me your e-mail and phone number I would like to catch up to learn a lot more about the coupe
Cheers
Theo

Well another Coupe is confirmed for delivery in June for another lucky WA owner.
My car is still in insurance limbo, hoping for a result soon. It's killing me having this car in front of me and not being able to build it.

PM sent Theo.
Remember Guys it's cheap to send kits from WA to the eastern states. Less than half to go the other way.
So if you want a kit brought in with no hassles or paper work to fill in let me know and I'll connect you to the shipper I used. I have no connection with FFR or my shipper, I am just a very happy customer and happy to pass on the 'how to'.

Hey Guys and Gals
I've updated my build page if you're keen for some more Daytona action.
Or you can check out my Gallery.
The car is coming along nicely.

coooolllllllll
Dave,
Looks great, you really are getting along....
I was lucky enough to ride in a couple of FFR Coupe's at the London Cobra Show in June. They are certainly the choice of Americans. The two I drove in differed alot, one was more of a race car the other more a daily driver.
They were both well made and appear quite easy to put together. Keep up the great work.

Dave,
I thought I was making good progress with my car, but you are flying.
By the look of the pictures in your gallery it is not that far away from being ready for engineering.
