The system has been around for a while and IMHO it is overpriced.
But good luck with your venture.

I'm just curious...
Is there a reason, other than the obvious, why you would go out of your way to make it more difficult for someone to make a few extra $ in these tough economic times? Especially when you likely have absolutely no idea what the relative prices and availability are of other options in Australia?

How well does the radio system cope with electrical interference ? My ignition system creates so much "noise" that it jambs gas analysers. My roller door motor prevents any rf signals from working. The car remote won't even work beside the car whilst the roller door is running.

the factory five cobra guys have used this system
its not really over priced
look at painbless wiring systems they are pricey these days especially thru rocket
this system can save a day or 2 in wiring
anyway its new to australia so will see how it goes
if it is overpriced then will stop the tight asses from calling and wasting my time
heheheheheheh
not sure on interferance but i cant see it being any different to yr everyday late model commodore and falcon and merc and bmw since they all have alot of communication wires
anyway its just another product for me to learn about instead of sitting on my butt widdling my brain away heheheeheh

Sideshow, if there is one thing i have learned in my short 34 years, no-one is going to come and drop a bucket load of money in your lap for no reason! So if you think this wiring system is a good idea and can make some money out of it, then bloody well go for it mate!!
Its always nice when there is an alternative product to choose from!
Good luck with it!
Andy.

Good luck with this Sideshow. You have helped many of us along the way and I am sure we all wish you well. I am trying to find a local (Sunshine Coast) auto electrician to come and check my wiring and harness fitting over at my home (to save trailering the car around) and it is difficult.
Best wishes for the new venture.
Merv

i just fixed a job that came from another very dodgey shop
i got ****ty with customer afew times over the week or 2 car was at my shop
my worst job is fixing someone elses job
do u want someone to actually do the wiring
or just check what u have done incase of problems
many would be reluctant because of warranty problems
most would want to do the job from start to finish
anyway thats just how i see things
if you dont get anyone by xmas i might be up your way for a week
if u need it looked at
im getting a friend to help me soon as im snowed under with work
will soon be making body harnesses for afew kits cars

I can understand that situation. It is the same in my line of work.
I guess I wanted most to have someone check over the fitting of the EFI and engine harness on the 302. I have all the details but there are some things that still puzzle me. Vacuum hoses that were cut from the Mustang and now are impossible to tell where they go. Probably they can be dispensed with. And some connectors that seem to go to nothing...
Also as I have done all the body harness (Painless!!) it would be good to have someone look for obvious or potential disasters.

Forgot to say thanks again Sideshow. I will make an offer to the local guy who works at Noosa and see what happens but maybe drop by anyway! A cold beer could be around.

Great and thanks! I have the Haynes manual but that is not very specific on some of these components. I also have some good notes via another member. There are still some puzzles!
Many thanks,
Merv
