Bowdens' Auto Museum Buderim
I am sure that lots of you have been to this place, but I just found out about it. There are supposedly two original Cobras and a GT40. I have attached a few photos in my Gallery (red and green Cobs).

Hi Merv,
Just to let you know...
We've (i.e. Cobra Car Club Qld ) been invited back to see the Bowden's collection again.
We went there a couple of years ago, and we took 128 members along.
HUGE day...and a real eye opener.
Dan Bowden contacted me a few weeks ago, and has sent to me a number of dates that would suit for us to go along.
Unfortunately they can't handle a group as large as we had last time, and he has to limit our numbers to about 80 at a time, so I will soon be sending out a "blurb" asking for names and the first 80 confirmed will be going.
Regards,
Warren

Dave,
I know you are keen to go to the USA. I would attend the SAAC event when it is back on the west coast next if you are keen to see originals.
I was at Fontana, California for one a year back. There you will see nearly every original Shelby car there is. This will usually include Cobras, Daytonas and plenty of the original GT40's etc.
Additionally, the owners are very obliging to take your questions and are more than happy for you to photo graph etc.
Would be cheaper for you to go there than to Queensland..

Count me in.
Merv, viewing of the Bowden cars is by invitation only I believe. Well that was the case anyway.

Wazza,
Can you put two from Vic down......
400TT,
While I'm there I can have a steak and the Brekky Creek and take a look at the RCR40.

Stiffy, always welcome. Although I expect the Bowdens visit will be after the Nationals and the plan is to have a RCR40 on the track at the Nationals. Plus a few other RCR cars.
