Default Seat Belt Light

I was talking to Aussie Mike yesterday and he told me that there is a place in Queensland that sells a small electronic device that keeps the seatbelt sign on for a certain amount of time when the ignition is first turned on. Does anyone know who they are and of any contact details?

Regards.

I bought one of these kits Mando, http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView...Max=&SUBCATID=
Assembled it and fitted inside a plastic box that came with the kit.
It is adjustable so you can make the light stay on for as long as you like.

Hi Mando,

I got mine from a company up in QLD called Electronic & Electrical Solutions 07 54534355

I cant seem to find a web page for them.

They do a neat little light with the circuit all self contained. It turns the warning light on for 15 seconds when you turn the ignition on and then goes out.

I got the guy to supply me just the tiny little circuit board and put the whole thing inside engraved warning light I already had.
It was about $30 from memory.

Cheers

The Snakebite one is fine. Got mine via Warwick Harrison. Works fine.

Mik,
Have you used two?
One for the seatbelts and one for the brake warning?

Just used it for the seat belt.

The brake fail warning light is just hooked up to the float switches. The hand brake warning light runs off a switch on the lever.

Cheers

I am using LED lights as dash lights for this and that. I asked the guy at Jaycar in Darwin about whether their kits would work with LED's and stumped him. I know one of you guys will know, I assume they will work but not fade as such. As the power drops the seat bely LED will just switch off..............I think.

OK....now is the time for all of the smarter people to correct me.......please.

Regards
Hogster
