I dont know if this is an issue with the HPC coating.
But can verify the blue paint used on the "pacemaker" branded headers can and soes cause issues with the LS1 O2 sensors.
I know this as I was working as Service department manager with a Holden dealership at the time when an internal bulletin was issued to all dealers advising warranty claims would be rejected if sensors where tested and found to be damaged by this paint.
Dealerships should have advised customer no warranty on the sensor due to non genuine exhaust.
