Default No locker

Hi,
I would not run a locker on the street as it will push you off of any crowned road and when you let up off the gas as you go into a turn it will swing the rear around.
You could also install an air locker diff, that way you can lock the diff for drag racing and and unlock it for turns.
Good luck,
Perry.

How's the tremec going Mark?

The slow slow boat is still chugging for us as I believe I heard the words "they rolled the container" just before he said delivery early in the new year - sheez

Mark

My post above means I'm still waiting for mine to land here and then there still may be problems. Should have airfreighted like you. What did that end up costing you for the freight side of it?

How is the TKO to use?

And where did you have your shift point and how is it for location in the car?

Steve

Haven't put it in yet waiting to sort out the diff will do both at the same time
Freight was $600 plus $950 GST and other charges That was for $6300 dollars au worth of gear Its very important that the goods are marked made in USA otherwise you'll pay another %10 import duty

When I picked the TKO 600 w/ 0.64 OD and a 3.77 rear end for my FIA most people on this site said 1st gear would be useless... I just finished the build the other weekend and for the first time I had it on the open roads today. I'm very happy with my tranny and rear end combo! It accelerates very well! I can't wait until it's broken in and I can spin the motor a little!
