Default Kitcar Magazine

Does anyone know why the magazine has not hit the news stands yet?
Hope they are going ok and dont get hurt in this time of no money.

There is a thread in the All Cobra Talk about this. Kit Car has gone out of business it would seem. Sad, as I enjoyed it a lot.

That's disapointing to hear about Kit Car. I used to buy that mag guite regularly when I saw it on Australian newsagent stands.

Cheers

I think that they also did the subsidiary mag, "Cobra" or is that a separate group? Are they still in business? It was an excellent magazine. I think I have all the issues.

There is the Aussie Kit Car, the UK Kit Car (x2) and the US Kit Car magazines (x2).

I heard sometime ago that the one of UK one's was in trouble.

Kit Car magazine out of business?

It looks like we are not alone with kit car magazines disappearing. This thread started a while ago.

Default Issue 4 Is Just A Bit Behind Schedule

I was talking to Robert Jacobs, the Editor of the Aussie version of Custom Kitcar Magazine yesterday by email.

As you know are probably aware, he is doing some articles on my Cobra build. I had sent him some photos to go in the next issue of the mag, which will be Issue 4.

He emailed me back to say that there had been some production problems, but Issue 4 would be going out for circulation shortly.

Unfortunately, my build photos will not be going in until Issue 5.

On the strength of what he has told me, the Magazine is in fine shape and is still in production which is good news.

Baz.

Hi Baz,

I've just been going through your progress pics. Is that your shed? you've got a mighty fine facility there, I'm envious.

Sorry for the Hi-Jack

Cheers

Sorry Baz, ignore my last post. I just read on one of your pics that it's Niel Streeting's new shop. Looks great, I'll have to pay him a visit next time I'm in Sydney and check out the RCR machinery in there.

Cheers

Boxhead, did you notice my noggin on the front cover of Issue 4 of Custom Kitcar Mag?

I'm in the passenger seat and my brother is the one driving the RCR SL-C.

I can't buy enough copies of Issue 4. My local newsagents are running dry. I keep giving them away. Will give Robert a call and see if he can send me up a swag of them.

If you guys haven't seen Custom Kitcar Mag, you've really got to check it out. Great articles, great photos, just a fantastic magazine.
