Default St Huberts Island (run pics)

G'day all.

Yesterday I was privileged to be a passenger in Stef's stunning Cobra on a run up to St Huberts Island.

I've posted a handful of pics that I'd taken whilst cruising throughout the day, trying to capture a bit of motion along the way.

Unfortunately I didn't get the chance to catch Stef's beast from vehicle to vehicle, however I do have a couple of Cobra's, Porches and a GT40.

It was certainly tough getting some results as they were all hand held and my being strapped in with a four point harness, however you'll hopefully get a good impression of what a great day we had.

A massive thank you to Stef for letting me tag along!

Enjoy!

Steve.

Stephen,

Thanks for the compliment, we had a blast with all the cars that turned up for the run, great mix and some serious stuff! We will be organising another run in a couple of months and will spend a little more time on organising the route! Felt a little like Gumball 3000, the only difference being we mostly stuck to the speed limit. In total 8 hours of driving and chin wags on short stops and lunch, met some imported drivers who came over just for the run (that's dedication!).

Thanks to all who participated on the maiden run.

Happy New Year to all CC members, have a safe break

Stef

Thanks very much for the kind words gentlemen!

Merv, a Nikon D2xs is my current camera body, whilst a Tokina 12-24mm wide angle lens was used.

Great pics, And as a coincidence, I was looking through eBay and found the Carrera is for sale.

It certainly looks like a serious bit of kit.
