Thanks Dave. Not Cobra weather there in upstate NY now. We spent Fall and Winter 2006 in Rochester and Cobras were not on my mind! Beautiful country and people however. Loved it.

Great car Merv, love the understatement, classy.

I will also be putting AC front, mid and back, for me the car is the shape and the shape is AC.

Sure many will disagree with that though...

Thanks Martin. Yours is truly beautiful. Lovely colour and overall presentation. I guess that what we all have is the 427 shape but I seem to recall that AC did badge some of those for the UK market? I do have this nice Shelby hat!

Beautiful Merv

Silver/grey is on my list as well.

I just recently resprayed my m/bike and it's almost identical......classy look for the Beemer and a Cobra!

Cant wait to get closer to painting, I'm sure there's plenty of dramas to go b4 I get there though including the confounded wiring that I'm playing with currently.

Thanks Greg and Boxhead. The colour is a relatively common one - which is good for needed touchups in the future - and is used on VW, Mazda and is also a BMW colour, with a different name. I have all the codes. It seems to suit the rounded curves on a Cobra and the lighting effects that come from the pearl in the paint mix.

Merv

Rob the pics that I sent show after painting and re-assembly. I pre-fitted everything before painting and oversized all the bolt holes and then after painting and initial buffing just re-fitted.

Thanks Mando. Have fitted the dash and will have carpets and seats in next week. Motor photos show some progress. Still to fit the air filter, engine harness (ready) and the accelerator cable. Seats are done in a dark green "Bentley" leather as are door panels - pics as soon as carpeting is completed.

The motor will get a work over after rego with new ally heads, some cam and a MASFLo induction system.

Merv

Will do. Carpet is all done next week and then the seats can go back in. Wiring up the ECU and sensors now. Airfilter is done and accelerator cable fitted!

Mando a few interior pics. Handbrake 'sock' etc still to be fitted. Interesting the different light effects on the colour.

Looks good, I like the thin backs of the seats. I was thinking of doing the same.

Thanks guys. Happy with the fitting so far. Sharon will need something to do hence the handbrake on her side!

I just love the RMC shape oops, this is a Harrison....shame on me.

Looks great Merv. You've done a bonza job and by building it yourself you know every bolt, nut and washer in the car.

Fantastic achievement.
