Default Garage v's Daytona

The garage has finally been approved

After numerous meetings with the neighbours (about their bloody fruit tree's and the outlook onto MY BLOCK) it has been resloved. They both lost and are not happy. Who wouldn't be happy with a 6 meter wall as their main outlook and by the way I will be saving them on their A/C bill as their house will be shaded from 1pm onwards , Some people cannot be pleased.....

I thought getting the Daytona passed engineering was difficult (should be completed this week), this was a nightmare.

First outlook.

On the block.

Now I need some advise on how to fit it out.....

Happy STIFFY

Now that's what I call a shed, well done.

If the neighbours think the big shed wall is a problem what will they think when you start tuning the car up all weekend.

Exactly the reason for my comment Stephen ..... I can imagine a sign out front.

" HORN BY STIFFY "

I bet there will be a couch in that *cough* Gym.

Default Small Garage

Cobber,

I have tried to keep the car noise down for exactly that reason....

Now its through, I can start tuning at 11pm without headers,,,,,,

Rebel1,

Not sure about the walls as yet. There is a well connected car club member who works for a concrete company, he has suggested prefab. I will render the front wall to match the house (when I can afford to build one)

LoBelly,

I hope it wont take as long asw the Daytona....

Heidelberg,

There is a website called Garage Journal, great for info.

Slowly,

Hornby is a train set, you guys have sex on the brain....

Aussie,

There is a laneway, the NICE neighbours didn't want to sell it ATM.
If I can do a tuning course, welding course, learn the drums, and get more V8'S they might reconsider. I will be driving right past their bedrooms.

Rebel1,

I am bald, I dont want to be bald AND FAT, hence the GYM

Default Time Frame

SAMBO,

I will be getting build quotes this Month, I would like it to be finished this year. At least to lock up stage anyway. I have never build a house/shed before so I am a bit blind with regard to time frames/costs etc.

Will keep you posted.

Default Magic Fridge

Stiffy,

Are you sure that architect is qualified, he hasn't even drawn a fridge on the floor plan.

Looks awesome and will be a great venue for VCCC should we be looking for new digs..

Are you putting in a big rain water tank so you can wash your collection in the driveway (guilt free)?

Cheers
