Default Finally Here

Its finally finished and here, engineering completed, VIN & engine number allocated, paperwork submitted to Dept of Transport QLD and just awaiting final approval for registration.

Sorry guys, but I think I must be dumb, I have followed "Boxheads" directions (which seem fairly simple) but to no avail, can't seem to get the photos in my galley to come up on the thread.

I must thank Warwick Harrison for his effort in getting this completed. He is one of the most honest and helpful people I have met and it was a pleasure doing business with him.

Champing at the bit now, The car has been washed a couple of times, polished a couple of times, the chrome and stainless polished a couple of times and the car hasn't even been on the road yet except for the drive home on a set of dealer plates.

I can feel a North Queensland Brunch coming up soon (as soon as the rain stops)

Well done Colin! I am getting my paperwork together tomorrow. How long did that part take and did you get much of it done in Townsville?

Merv & sharron
All the engineering paperwork was done by Ray Cross and Warwick organised the VIN and engine number.

Thanks mike, don't know what I am doing wrong but it doesn't want to come up. I can get the URL into the thread but can't seem to transform it into a photo.

Congrats Colin.

The photos just don't do this car justice, it has a lot of nice detail work. I had the pleasure to see it a few times at Warwick's factory as it progressed.

Gotta love fellas that have Cobras in North Queensland. No roof, no windows and a meter of rain a month!

Looks SMASHING Colin. With a couple of new Cobras in the north I think it is time to go for a hoon.

Actually let's get Rebel1 up here so we can get into some real trouble.

Col

I'm due for a return visit to our project site soon I expect, and this time we have to meet so I can have a look and ride in that car and then several beers, very well done mate!

Just trying to figure out how I can also coincide business with pleasure in July naturally. I'll need to make sure there is something important that needs doing in Townsville then I guess.

Cheers

Steve

Thanks guys, I went through registration last wednesday, no problems, particularly as one of the DOT girls loves cobra's and had a sit behind the wheel, the inspector is a bit of a fan so all went well. So far I haven't been able to go for a drive without the my 6 year old daughter coming.
Steve, let me know when you are coming up and I will see if we can get a group of us together, unfortunately I got a bit caught up last time.
If you come up for the V8 race in July, I have finally been able to contact the organisers about using the local Cobra's for a lap with the race drivers. They hadn't planned anything but now they are seeing if they can fit it in.
Blair is going to spit as he has organised a hunting trip up to the Cape and wont be there. Accomodation is getting scarce but I'm sure we can find a bed for you somewhere.

Regards
Colin

Congrats Colin

Always easier if the inspectors are a fan of the marque or at least interested.

If I can arrange a visit on the V8 weekend, I'll sleep or falldown from exhaustion in whatever corner you can offer me. I better start planning.

At least it seems to have slowed down on the rain front for you somewhat to at least be able to go for a drive. I heard our site was underwater a few weeks ago - DoH.

Lets hope the Supercar weekend doesn't turn into a Malaysian F1 swim fest!

Cheers
