Steve, I have used a press stud right at the front/bottom to attach to chassis, you might need a strap to get enough length to reach the chassis.
Then just velcro to inside of the guard to secure the rear edge. Recommend using contact cement etc to adhere velcro to inside the guard as I have found the adhesive on the velcro to not be reliable enough long term.

That is pretty much it Steve. I have a lift-a-dot (double height post at the top for the tonneau also) and another at the bottom on the inside end of the chassis rail. The spat clips on those and folds under on to a wide (not the narrow stuff) velcro strip (which is glued on as Craig describes). The edge of the spat is sewn where it folds over the edge of the wheel arch, to reduce the pressure on the velcro. We experimented with a sprung steel strip to clip in the spat, inside the wheel arch, but it didn't work out. The leading edge of the spat has stretch elastic sewn in to keep it in place. I have taken them off many times to test them out and all is good.

Merv and Sharon did you use velcro under the fender to hold the spat on? What about the bottom is there a peg?

I think it is fair enough. Steve actually originally asked the question in March 2012 and has patiently been awaiting an answer.

Now that is patience!
Steve, Merv doesn't hang around here much although i looks like he last logged on on 31 October last year. Try sending him an eMail - you can do this through his user profile.
