Fender spats

For those of you interested in removable 'spats' instead of the usual chrome/metal fender guards ... these are interesting. The first, courtesy of Craig White. They could obviously be in any colour.





Both are attached under the edge of the guard by velcro and at top an bottom by "lift-a-dot" or similar means, and this site gives a good description of the attachment process (plus some high quality pics of all kinds of build processes if you want to explore):
