Default Aluminium Paint Finish

I was looking through a few galleries as you do and came across a couple of pictures in Tenroccas gallery that had been posted recently. I wish I knew how to get the pics across to this Thread but you really should see the finish he has achieved on his bonnet. Amazing work!!

Regards.

You're right Mando,

I was round at Tenrocca's place a couple of weeks ago for some advice on my build and he was trialling this paintwork around that time.
I was particularly impressed with the sheetmetal work in aluminium he has done on the firewall and inside the boot complete with stripes and rondel polished into the aluminium. I have to admire his patience, the pics on his gallery don't really do some of his work justice.

Regards, Dennis

Boxxy - it may get large but it will never be shaped....well....like a box.

Dennis - i dissagree completely in that any pics in the gallery are almost certainly the best I took, and have been photoshopped to within a inch of their lives to look half decent. You mustnt have looked too closley when you were over - aluminium dust in the eyes perhaps

Mando - something Ive been tinkering with. First attempt (which Strida saw) was a complete failure, but after getting a bit of advice the bonnet came up OK. Will keep going now - was about to give up and just get it properly painted (which I still may do if I cant get a consistent finish).

And it is real aluminium...sorta

LOL - you mean "feret spot teker" (and that was the missus)

At least I dont have to spray the garden with roundup to find my cobra.
