Dont know - it did take a lot of time, but I could do it lot better and faster next time. As a "paint" its pretty cheap too so suited the budget. It is an untested finish Im not sure how it will weather etc as well. If it starts to look crap I have a good base to sand back the whole car and get it properly done.

One thing about it I do like is that I dont have to be precious about the finish - drop something on it or scratch it and provided its not too deep you just scotchbrite it back

My dash is the same colour as the the body but to avoid glare the dash was sprayed with a flat clear rather than gloss as per body.

Maybe that would be a good cover once you are happy with your finish of the stripes etc. and it might maintain the finish you want.

Small update - dash is in and wiring is nearly tidied up. Started her up again for the first time in about 6 months - all good. Seats and belts are in. Getting closer to that first drive...
