Mando,

I just noticed the price of those inlet manifolds -- not cheap, but stunning. Now if you are going to only drive this car at night ... the full beauty will never be revealed?

Thanks Mike.
Russ, the cost of the screens were included with the original purchase of the injection system.

Regards.

I know it's only a Ford... But damn that thing looks horn. If I owned it I reckon I'd get a clear perspex bonnet made, so everyone could admire it...

Top job Mando.

This motor on an original Cobra up the road, does not look nearly as nice! Good for reference, however.

I wish there was a way to get the people at Morrison's to answer an inquiry. I have submitted a query through the "contact us" portion of their website on two occasions and sent one email to one of the email accounts listed.

No answers....guess they don't need the business. I would appreciate any information regarding the ID of the filter so that I can see if my stacks can be adapted. The second question is a description of how the screen fastens on the stack and then of course if everything would work....how much do they cost? Any help with these questions would really be appreciated.

Thanks

I don't think they are that internet savy. You may be best just to get on the phone with them. Just remember the time difference. Melbourne, Australia is GMT +10

Cheers

Russ, the guy you need to speak with is Steve, no one else will do. Phoning them may be your best hope of reaching them.
Steve has displays every year at Sema and another of your big shows in Florida. I may be mistaken but I think Steve has distributors in US.
I know Steve doesnt make many screens and has no system of attaching them to the trumpets, thats something Im thinking about constantly. Its taken 2 years to get mine but I can tell you it was worth the wait.
The screens have a ID of 98mm.

Regards.

Hey Mando, How about making a small "cartridge" to go inside the horn with a sponge filter in that. Or a sponge filter sandwiched between another screen, under those that you have !...cool looking mesh with added filtering.
Just a thought.

Hi Rob, I thought about sandwiching some foam between 2 screens I just have to do some homework on what type of foam to use and would the foam need to be oiled.
Just one more thing to add to the list.

Regards.

Hey Mando and Gang,
Mando, looks great and bet she sounds sweet too ! A buddy has a Roadster with an incredible looking injection system. He found a guy that manufactures custom filters. The filter/screens look much like the ones in your photo but these incorporate multiple screens that are a very fine mesh.

The fine screens did alter the tune needed per dyno pulls with and without the filters but once set it runs great. These stacks are through the hood and in the air flow of the open road. He can record details of engine parameters going down the road and found the filters reduced turbulence as a side benefit.

I mention all this to suggest another way to skin a cat and do not sell or have anything to gain. If you do not want to build your own I will get contact info for you, drop me a line. Jeff C

I will leave my buddy a massage asking for the contact information. It may take a day or so but will get it for you.

Thanks again
