I want to makesure you could get that Python registered with that engine and management system fitted ....
I think the price Spooky is quoting is off the web-site, its the stuff that was there last time I looked

As far as I can tell the point is about what you get for your $$ but just in case anyone is concerned about the legality of Georges cars

- as far as I know George is putting chevs in now (see pic below from shed run in Sep '08)
and I hear that the customer base would prefer that he weren't...

Very nice cars by the way - almost made me envious ...

All this talk about hundreds of thousands of dollars by the time you complete your project is quite depressing.

I plan on either saving for a used cobra or building my own. After the initial 20k (ish) purchase of a kit where does the other 80 thousand come into play.

And just to play devils advocate, I'm a big fan of Ray's build:
Owner built on a budget;

He did it for what...13k?

Mate mate mate
these blokes are dinkum Aussies and they are talking aussie dollars. You can do a car way cheaper in the USA. Depends how skilled you are and what you want. The Aussies have lots of rules they need to meet. You could make a rat rod cobra in Texas for under 20K if you wanted.
