Oi Uncle Pete, I'm still a nice fellow, just ask me, I'll tell ya.

As to the pelicans . Thanks to engineering types like you they are soon to double in number courtesy of the extra bridge.

Funny you should make comment as to the toilet habits of these pelicans as one recently made a deposit onto a mate of mine caught in a traffic snarl on that very bridge.

So all pelicans have been sent off for retraining so they can properly identify Southsiders from those of us who live on the Northside.

Anyways, good to hear from you .. Hope you and your family are doing well.

I agree with all of that Peter. I had lots of help along the way, especially with the wiring - from Les and Geof. Everyone's car is always that little bit different and there is always something that throws things out until you understand why.

I am not sure about the pelican's down Les's way but I have heard another description of that area as (my memory weakens here ... ) "Ipswixx by the sea" or similar?

Totally unfounded - both ways!

And yes - when are subscriptions due? Is our money not good enough or is more needed to accommodate the President's extravagant and elegant lifestyle?

Well 2 things happened for me today-6th August,2009
1) I'm now the proud owner of Boss 260+ 6 speed etc, & collect it next Tuesday

&
2) Made arrangements with Mr Harrison and I get chassis #100.....a red latter day for me and hopefully a special one for Warwick.........100 chassis' something to be pretty proud of I reckon !!

so now the fun begins in earnest, I've got about 12 weeks to get the shed & the garage cleaned out to make room for the build--------------And I can't wait )

Roger,

congratulations on ordering a great kit. I seem to recall Warwick was going to try and have a celebratory BBQ for the first 100 kits he built...with all 100 owners.

regards

Mick

I reckon Warwick should give you a special "100" plaque for your car!

well Merv I have already suggested that one to Warwick, so I guess we'll see!
I happen to have a nice piece of brass plate that would be suitable too !

I was thinking that but would never say it!

I am #80 but the number 8 is considered "lucky"

The eighth day was new after God rested.
There are 7 days in a week and the 8th day is a new beginning.
Christ rose on the 8th day which was a new beginning for the world
and circumcision was always done on the 8th day. Perhaps not so lucky ...

Yeah, my memory was pretty clear on that too! Involved drinks, BBQ and free memorabilia as I recall.

Because I know that Warwick rarely gets a chance to look at this forum, and that I'm always having to pass on any good forum info/comments to him as I drink his "Free" coffee nearly every day....I'll make sure he knows about the groundswell regarding the upcoming 100th.celebrations / b.b.q / pi$$ up !!

Cheers,

Warren,
Harrison no.97

I'll be there, just a little airfare for me warwick can put the bill on Warrens car I am sure Warren will not notice. My car is 73 so following Mervs logic I am number 1 therefore I really should be there
Did he count the FF5 cobras and Daytonas as part of his numbering system. If so then is 100 really number 100? Could be dodgey
