How can I enjoy myself when there is so much still to do??

Seriously though - thanks everyone. The collegiality of this Forum and the valuable information available on so many topics is the standout conclusion you reach during these builds. Without that it would be so much more difficult, if not impossible.

I should have mentioned that as well as shake testing and brake testing the Maroochydore QT inspectors asked for a grille on the car front.

Thanks Geof. You in particular have been a tremendous help! Already re-doing the clutch cable arrangement and hi-Torque starter to be fitted.

Well done Merv. Congratulations.

I have updated the thread about importing Daxs to
Oz. Mine should be on the road in under 2 weeks all being well.

I noticed Jason. That's good. It seems that you won't have too much to do. Note my 'grille'. I was asked for one too and had anticipated the question.

Look forward to hearing that you're on the road soon.

Merv,

I saw you car on Sunday at the breakfast - nicely finished and the colour suits the period of the car.

Very professional indeed

Thanks Peter. Like many others I like that period look. Low key presentation was an objective of mine during the build. I do love driving it however!

Cheers,

Merv

Thanks Baz. Been doing a lot of driving lately - the main idea I think - and surprised how smooth and powerful the car is. Good fun. Not sure I will make the nationals this year due to work commitments (I thought I retired last year!).
