Default Spare Tire in a B and B

Has anyone put a spare tire in a B and B? I believe it can be done by using a Mustang donut tire. You cut a hole in the rear fiberglass panel enough for the tire to go through, and the trunk to close. The hole is glassed in to fit the contour of the tire. The tire would miss the rear axle by a couple of inches. Some brackets would have to be made from one side frame to the other to span the gas tank for the tire to be bolted to. The fuel line would have to be re-routed. I am not sure about the battery yet.

Opinions?

Ya, Larry you may be right. It's an odds issue. I was looking at some of the other manufacturers web sites and saw that some offered a spare tire option. That's what got me thinking about it. Plus, when I was on vacation this summer on a busy freeway and totally blew a tire, it made me think what if this was my Cobra.

I'm still deciding to do it or not.

If you carry a spare, then you'll need a jack & lug wrench, gonna get a little crowded! Can't remember when I last had an "inconvenient" flat tire, like late at night or on the expressway. I carry a tubeless repair kit, a jug of Slime, and a quality air compressor (something that will infate a flat tire in 3-4 minutes), keep my tires in good condition, and yeah a cell phone. If that ain't enough then I'll be in a heap of trouble! Enjoy the ride.
