Default Brake Master Cylinder upgrade?

Hey guys,
I have a standard 2008 '66 cobra kit with the stock brakes. I've replaced the master cyliner with a A-1 cardone (double reservoir) because the original was not bench bled.

My problem is that I'm getting brake fluid leaking through the lid of the master cylinder. It leaks bad enough that it drips down on the header a little. I've replaced the rubber gasket in the lid which didn't solve the problem. The fluid level is about 1/4" below the cap and it seems to leak only when I'm drivin. I'm not looking to just replace the master cyliner with an upgraded unit such as one from wildwod or equivalent.

Can anyone recommend a master cylinder that will bolt in using my existing brake lines, etc?

I can post pics later as I'm at work now.

Thanks!!

Hey guys, Boris suggested a new Fenco master cylinder from Autozone ($40). I just ordered it after trying another suggestion on this site of filing down the lid of the master cylinder. Didn't work, still leaks pretty bad. Also tried lowering the fluid level as well.

I'll let you guys know how it turns out! Also will post another thread about Griffin aluminum radiator I just installed.

I had the same leaking lid problem with my mine. The Fenco master cylinder (Autozone part# NM1667) isn't fancy at $40 ...but it doesn't leak, stops the car and the brake lines line up perfectly.
