Default Rear Fender Lip

Has anyone added a lip to the rear fenders of a B&B. It is my understanding the original race cars had a lip but the street cars didn't. It shouldn't be to hard to add a lip since it has a return lip already. If you have done this how did you go about it.

To my understanding, not all of the 427 body styles had the lip. Look at this one for example.

You may even want to consider these as a pattern!

Larry, that is true. The 427 race cars had the lip and the 427 street cars for the most part didn't. But that wasn't absolutely true because of the number of car sales required to qualify for racing. So for a replica that doesn't have rear fender lips it most likely was splashed from a street car. As least that's how I understood it. I just think they look better with the lip. Originality is not a major concern with me.
