There is a bracket that bolts to the head which will move the pivot point for the alternator inboard by 3". I have a cast iron one from a '70 Ford truck. Part # DOOE-10A336. The brackets for the passenger cars are aluminum. They are very common and you shouldn't have any trouble finding one. You can have this one if you want.
