Default Factory Five seats

Has anyone installed Factory Five seats in their car? I'm replacing my seats with a set of the leather Factory Five seats and any input, help or issues you ran across would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

George

I put them in my Arntz. They are really nice seats! They have a metal frame and lumbar support. I used a Breeze lower mounting to give the seat some tilt and make it easier to remove. If you have seat sliders, they would work also. They were a bit taller than my originals, but the originals were beat the padding was worn.

Make sure you install the wooden piece under the seat pad or you will be sitting on the metal frame in a month.

I didn't even think about the wood support and after looking at the seat, makes sense. Thank you!

I just talked to Mark at Breeze. Might be able to help me out.

Thanks again

Call ERA, I used a FFR seat as an office chair its ok but I would rate 6 out of 10.
ERA seats do not need support

The Breeze rails I got (about 4 years ago) did not have a tilt function, just a slide for and aft. I like a little rake to my seats so I put spacers (about 1 inch) on the fronts. Now I sit in the seat more than on the seat. Be sure the mounts are through the steel plate and not just through an aluminum floor panel. Some angle the seats slightly in or out from the tunnel to change the drivers "angle" to the pedals. Measure twice, cut once.

My Breeze mount has the 5 degree rake and I still put a 1" spacer under the front for more tilt. I cannot imagine driving in those seats with the back so straight.

I ordered the Breeze mount... Definitely going to take my time. You guys would have to see it to believe it to see the old "dune buggy" seats that came with the car and the shoddy installation.

Default Update...

Finally got around to installing new FFR seats in my B&B. I bought the Breeze mount and couldn't be happier. I Have not finished but here's the driver side.

There is a before, interior picture and the most recent. New center console and new door panels. I made the center console and door panels. I had them upholstered.
