Question Bullitt Wheels

These wheels are the 17" x 9" (+24mm with 5.95" backspacing). They are 5-lug (5 on 4 ½). Has anyone used this type wheel on their B & B with tubular front w 11" rotors and Narrowed 9" rear with 11" brakes. I have searched the site and I haven't found any thing even close as to the actual dimentions. I would hate to buy them and then have to sell them. I would also like to go to 10.5" rears, but If i have to stay with 8" all around that is Ok too.

Any input would be wonderful..

Thanks
Fred

I put a set of Mustang Bullet wheels on my car and they look great!! My B&B is set up with a 8.8 and the tubular front. Because of the backspacing on the tubular front, you may have to add a 1" spacer to make the stance more correct.

I would like to know where you got those center caps.

I haven't purchased these yet. I found these particular wheels on ebay. Just do a search in ebay motors for "Mustang Wheels".

You fill find the company that offers these wheels, if fact you will find many companies. Some of these companies have the centers your looking for. Sorry I can't be of more help but that is all I know right now.

Thanks for the info, I know now that I will have to change the back spacing in the front by at least an inch.

I forgot to mention that the Bullet wheels will not fit on the 11" front rotor without at least a 1/4 inch spacer. You will also have to change the front wheel studs to make them longer. The reason the wheels won't fit is because the o.d of the hub is larger than the inside of the center cap. No problem with the rears, but my axle is not narrowed as of yet.

Let me know if I can be of any additional help.

Hey Fred, the next time you talk to Bryan, mention the longer studs for the front rotors. We always install the longer studs when people order the Team III wheels because they are a little thicker than the standard Weld wheels. If I can remember, I'll say something to Bryan tomorrow. BTW, we recommend 4.5" backspace on the front tubular.

Thanks

I am glad I asked... I almost got them.. I have a good start anyway. Now I just have to figure out what I/we want. I will try to at least write Bryan later today about the studs.

I hope you guys didn't get nailed with a bunch of snow.. Heard there was a big storm near there..

I just bought a set of Compomotives.

8x15 w/4.5" backspacing front - 235-60-15
9.5x15 w/4.5" backspacing rear - 275-50-15

perfect fit on the B&B. Tubular fronts, shortened 9" rear.
