Default Swapping engine

I may be swapping out my engine in April. I am thinking that it is best to pull the engine and trans together, considering how much fun it was to install and remove the trans after the fact the last two times.

What method works best? If pulling both together, am I best jacking up the rear of the car?

Tom

Hey OhBuoy,
Didn't Mr. Shaffer build you a good one. You should have purchased a 351 from him. It would appear that he has the worlds only unlimited supply of pre-72 windsors around. Never could figure out, though, how when he paints them, that the paint runs change the date code. Oh well, I guess it happens alot. If you do a Yahoo search for Indy Mustang, you'll see a link to his website, and the next link is to the Club Cobra thread of mine where I tried to warn folks of his quality work. I knew it was a risk going with him, but fortunately, I didn't get burned very bad. He did at least send some vasaline for me.

Best of Luck,
Jim Downard

Rick,
I should have mentioned before. If it came from Indy Mustang, it's not a potatoe, its a future boat anchor.

Jim
