Default B&B Aluminum Trunk Kit

Who has installed it? Did you use anything to bond it to the fiberglass? Is there a pannel that goes on the back of the top shelf? I think I am missing that. Any tips for lining up the DSUES fastners for drilling on the side panels?

Well, I test fit the peices this afternoon. There is definately a peice missing, and I am not sure if I will end up modifying them. I have a battery cutoff mounted to the bulkhead, and this setup will limit access to that should it need work. I would need to drill out the rivets for that back panel. Also, same goes for the bolts for the seat belts, and considering they need to be swapped. I may order the panel that I am missing with a removable plate, or just modify what I have.

Tom,

Just curious, why did you decide to go with aluminum in the trunk?

Mainly looks, plus it gives a little extra space on the shelf area. This space was going to be used to mount my cold fire suppression bottle. My other concern is that I wanted to do some track events, and am thinking the aluminum is a better idea than the capet I have now.
