Default Exhaust Headers

I purchased a Legondary Cobra about 20 yrs ago -- I understand it is now
B & B. My delima - I need a new set of exhaust headers. I believe the the ones used on the B & B kit will fit -- does anyone have any thoughts or ideas.
The headers are for a 428 -- as you guys know the tolerance is very close and there is little room between the headers and the footbox.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

call barry or brian or karen at b and b they are really nice and try to do things right. ask them if the standard header they make will work . Don't let them make a "custom" header. It'll take for ever and might not be right,Good luck.

Build your own! All it takes is a pile of 2" mandral bends, some 3/8" plate, and a mig welder.

Good Luck!

If you want to make them out of stainless, Stainless Works sells the bends and flanges. I bought 1 3/4" bends for $18each.

Thanks for your reply -- I went ahead and ordered them fron B&B -- I will need to do some modifications but I think they will work. B&B was a pleasure to work with.
