Default Gas Tank Leak & Removal?

Hello guys,

My car is a Backdraft RT3 #755. I notice the other day that I had a small leak from my Gas tank. 1 drop every 10minutes. And also it was random. So i lift the car and it was impossible to take the tank out to see it .

I put my fingers at the top of the tank - and I felt it wet, so I took my cellphone and I managed to take 1 image that shows the problem. Also I found a piece of seal very close to the golden area. I am positive it belongs to the seal.

So how can I access the top part of my tank where the fuel level sender is. I think the seal there is damaged and is leaking. I am thinking to cut an opening from the top. But I am sure there must be away to take the tank out?

What option do I have?

Thank you - Andronikos,

Thank you - I will try it tomorrow. Do you know what is that seal? Is it form the fuel level sender? If yes should I order a new sender then? I have to admit that fuel gauge does not work very accurate on my car.

Thanx - Andro,
