Thanks cbreez,

I plan to pickup a fiuel filter tomorrow and swap it out.

The fuel filter is right next to the fuel tank, which seems odd for a mechanical fuel pump setup. There is no filter between the pump attached to the block on the motor and the carb itself.

Is this setup ok?
