Default Turn signal lever

Just took the cobra out for the first time in about 6 months and noticed the turn signal lever pointing straight down, 6:00 position. The assembly is loose as a goose. Before I go taking the steering column apart, I thought someone might know an easy way to tighten it, ie. set screw or something to that respect. Thanks in advance for any info.

John

Only one solution to this problem. You need to sell the car fast. I'll give you $25K sight unseen.

Just kidding. This is easy to fix. Just get underneath the column and tighten the set screw after you reposition the lever. I had to do this a couple of times when I had my car. I am sorry that I can't tell you the exact procedure, because I no longer have the car. But, some of the other current owners can certainly give you the details.

On 226, there is a small Allen (metric) set screw on the top of the turn signal lever housing. This is if the lever is on the right side.
