Default Radiator for backdraft?

Hello everyone,

Could someone tell me what vehicle the radiator in my backdraft cobra #188 comes from?

I did a search and the few posts i found said that it is from a mid 90's 3-series e36 BMW. It is a Behr radiator and looks the same as a 3-series e36 radiator except that it's exactly 1-inch narrower.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

Best bet: Backdraft Parts - Radiator OEM (take out unit)

Or make the upgrade while you are at it: Backdraft Parts - Radiator 30% more efficient

I believe they are from 3 series BMW as well.
Check out parts at BavAuto.com as a good source from brake and suspension parts too.

Thanks very much for the info. My current radiator is fine, I thought it was bad and bought a radiator for a 1995 BMW 325 e36 which is 1 inch wider than the current one. Mine turned out to be leaking at the small hose on the top of the radiator on the drivers side. I just replaced the hose and all is well now. I just wanted to know which vehicle the radiator comes from for future reference.

Thanks,

Tom

This may be my problem too! I just posted in the BDR section. Found fluid on the garage floor. How did you get to that hose?
