Default Help finding rims

Hey BDR folks,

I'm looking for 4, Halibrand type, 15" rims, with or with out tires. These can have the "fake spinner" mount or the bmw hub mount.

You can message me if you have any leads of some,

Thanks everybody and have a Merry xmas!

Arno

15" rims are relatively rare on BDRs as most cars run 17s... You may find someone who wants to upgrade to 17s though. If not you can buy the bolt ons from Team III Wheels.

Thanks Jay. I know these 15s are hard to find, that's why I posted on here wondering if someone wanted to upgrade like you said. We'll keep looking.

Those Team III wheels look pretty good.

Thanks

There was some for sale a bit ago over on the BDR forum. They might still be available...

I have a set of Team III Halibrand 15” Wheels and B. F. Goodrich Tires $1,500 obo.

They are 15" Team III rims specifically for a Backdraft cobra. The fronts are 15" x 8" and the rears are 15" x 10.5". These rims are actually a five bolt lug, bolt on, although they look like knockoffs. Price includes the 4 bolt covers and 4 aluminum knockoffs. This is a $300 option by itself.

The tires are B.F. Goodrich 15" TA radials. They are getting hard to find.
The fronts are 235/60 and the rears are 295/50. They have about 8-9000 miles on them.

The bolt pattern is the standard for Backdraft brand cobra roadster cars. It is BMW – 325i.

Fronts - 8"x 15" with a 4 1/2" backspace. With 1/4" tire overlap on each side, this would put the final number at 5".

Rears - 10.5" x 15" with a 5 3/4" backspace. With a 1/4" tire overlap on each side, this would put it the final number at 6 1/4".

If you need all the tires but not the rims, or vice versa, I can separate. You pay the cost of boxing/shipping. Price is plus UPS freight from Saint Cloud, Florida 34769. If you want just the rims, I do have my old original team III boxes to ship them in.

I also have one extra front and rear tire by themselves. I will sell for $75 each.

If you have any questions, please call me at: (407) 729-5969.

I've tried to upload photos but mine are too large a format. Please contact me if interested and I will email them to you.
