One of my friends had a BDR in 17' wheels. He adapted some Trigo 15' wheels in chevy pattern. Fits right, no clearance problem with the brakes, but he has to machine lightly the wheel and the hubs, to have the wheels kept inside the fenders (because of backspace problem).

But now, it drives perfect, with the right look (he put Gy billboards on it ! Nice...

Any write up out there for what he did specifically with pics? Any idea of what # BDR he has? Ive been told the later ones had larger brakes that 15" wheels wont clear. Thanks.

Ok, I'll ask him for some details and pics, and I'll post it soon (maybe I will do it himself). I was also told that latest BDR has BMW E90 brakes, so that why they need larger wheels (18', as far as i know)...
