Default Replacing the Radiator

Bought the upgraded aluminum radiator from BDR. However, I want to keep my 2 fans and shroud. The problem is that the fiberglass shroud is too short to reach the top and bottom of the aluminum radiator.

Has anyone come across this before?

Any help would be appreciated.

Would something as simple as a couple of sheets of aluminum work? Then you could get your siding guy to make it pretty if it worked.

MLN,

I can't see the brackets in your pics.

Can you give me some more details?

Thanks

What I did was use aluminum angle, drilled the fiberglass oem shroud and cut to fit. I sealed with black rtv to keep it air tight for better air flow. Allowed for overlap to bolt to the new radiator, you will need to fabricate a lower mounting bracket as the New BDR radiator is taller then the stock one.

I would also recomend weatherstrip in front around the opening.
I added another pictures to my link that may help.
