Smile Backdraft exhaust heat shield

I have a Backdraft exhaust heat shield if someone needs it. The clamps were made by me as three of the original ones broke. I tried to get them form Backdraft and was told they did not have them in stock so I purchased stainless flat stock and made them using stainless hardware. One of the original ones is in tact and had to make only three clamps. They look like new. Will take $150.00 for the set.

Very interested - any idea if they will fit an ERA Stainless system? What will shipping cost to MN (55427)?

Thanks,
Troy

Hope your brackets are better than the ones BDR uses. I love my heat shields but I think I have gone through 6 brackets now. Ugh.

Weld stud to lower nut and then reweld stud/nut to band. This setup will never break....

The latest ones I have are that configuration. I just put one on Sunday so I am hopeful it holds up.

Knock on wood, but my bands have held up on BDR 226-a 2005 model.

Default Backdraft Heat Shield

Looks like a good business for someone to make some good clamps.
