Wet sanding

Took delivery of 1282 two weeks ago and while I love the color of my car,the clear coat seems rough on the hood and trunk areas. I understand that the new
builds have 3 layers of clear and I am thinking of having my blue/silver striped
car wet sanded. Has anyone else done this recently and can you share your
thoughts on the difference it made?
