Sidepipe brackets

How necessary are the brackets? I had them welded once before and don't feel like even dealing with them again.

If you're talking about the brackets that support the exhaust outlet end of the sidepipe, I'd say that they're only necessary if you prefer to not have cracked/broken headers

the brackets on my sidepipes broke once. Bad welds.

Last night I made a left turn and hear a metal-on-metal crack. Looked over the door and saw that the bracket broke, again, but this time the bracket broke, not the weld.
