Agreed on the tire age question, that is why I was asking. (and I wish all muscle car guys would watch the dates, because many of them put so few miles on their cars every year and before you know it the tires are ten years old but look new!) My wife was saying, "They look brand new, why are you going to buy new tires?". My answer? "Because I love you".

Default Age vs milage

I thought I'd check to see if my 2004 BDR had the original tires .... yup. Their in beautiful condition however 15 years old is a bit much especially at 100+ They will get changed out next week. Have BF Goodrich TA's but am thinking about Cooper's.

Default Tires

I still have the original Falken AZENIS on my car. They are 4 years old but only have 2200 miles on them. I only use the car for street driving. I didn't know much about them until I took all 4 wheels and tires to a local specialty place to have them balanced. The guy who helped me looked at them and asked what kind of car were they on. When I told him, he just laughed and told me they were really good tires and expensive.

I'm running Cooper Cobras on my Unique and really like them for the price compared to others. Had 15 yr. old BF Goodrich on before and there is a big difference. Got caught in a heavy downpour about an hour from home (yep, got soaked!) and had no problem, but I was rather careful on my way home.

Michelin 215/70 X 15R on my Slabside. Five years old, very pleased with their performance.

I am very pleased with Mickey Thompson ST tires...a well priced tire with
predictable handling and very little rock throwing. And they look the part.
