Ace23 said it the best "who cares what other people think" it's your money your car and the smile it would put on your face is all that matters I'm building mine now and I stuffed a 5.4 gt500 motor in it And 3.6lc kenne bell to top it off. You can get that loopy idle also with L&M nsr cams I have them, I'm sure they make them for the coyote.

Any cobra with a coyote motor is awesome. In a backdraft even better. I saw a Kirkham with a coyote and a 6 speed.

The injected engine 5.0 lacks the bigger HP that many prefer including myself, but it is a very popular motor in many new Backdrafts. Having an old school car like the Cobra should be period correct as much as possible with a Carb high HP motor IMO. Yea its stinky at times as you mentioned, LOL, but that kind of goes with the whole experience of having a Backdraft or other fine replica.
