I 1st learned of this on my 05 Mustang a few years ago since it had an internal throw-out/slave cylinder.

If the slave cylinder is such a problem, why not use a hydraulic throw out bearing like Chevy does on the T-56? That seems to work well for them. The parts are available for the Tremec.
