Default Clutch ?

I have a 6 speed tremec t56 and seem to have a problem. While letting out clutch in first gear I am getting a surging no matter how much throttle I give it. This seems to be getting more pronounced so I am assuming I need some sort of clutch adjustment.

Looking for some guidance from all the smart minds on this forum.

Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug,

It this a clutch shudder, or engine lean surge at part throttle?

I would say clutch shudder. No engine issues once moving or driving...

Hi Doug,

I would say if you have a shudder, the flywheel and or pressure plate is hotspotted or the clutch plate is warped.

If it is a shudder you cannot live with, I'd say it is gearbox out for clutch removal and inspection.

Howdy Doug,

It this a grip shiver, or motor lean flood at part choke?

I believe you can get some clutch judder from moisture getting in the friction material. Usually with some use you can get this to dry out.
