Loose door latch bolt

What would you use to tighten a door latch bolt that keeps coming loose. I've thought of using plumber's tape, a lock nut, or maybe blue loctite. Any ideas?

Weld it in place.

The Locktite should work fine. I've always used Locktite 7471 or 7649 Primers as well. Its an accelerant and bond promoter and helps with large gap hardware (aka= coarse thread).

Thank you Spdbrake. I ordered the loctite primer and the blue loctite tape. I will let you know how it works.

I use nylok nuts where I can and locktite other places. I hate "for the want of a nail" stories.
