Thanks to Frank and the great folks at Backdraft.

I'm still working out a few bugs (ie: Tuning Issues) with the Gen 3 Coyote. But, Wow! what a ride.

welcome aboard I have a older 2013 with a 427 stroker and have had to do a lot of learning how to work on it as well as driving it. When folks tell you welcome to the madness that is what they are saying to you. That said I absolutely love my car.Good luck to you.

Congrats on a great looking Backdraft.

I too was fortunate to have met with Frank, in early 2018. He provided a tour of their facility and cars. He was very generous with his time and entertained my (too) many questions.

Decided one Cobra is enough for now, even if I could then call my first one my 'original' (but that's for another thread).

Enjoy responsibly! Brent

Default Engine Bay

I'm afraid the engine bay is a bit of a letdown. Gen 3 Coyotes have this huge engine cover that hides almost everything. Earlier generations used intake and coil covers to dress things up. I'm not sure if those items will work on the Gen 3's.

As everyone already knows the engine is huge. It make some maintenance issues a bit problematic. ie: clutch master cylinder access. Gen 3's also present some new tuning issues that traditionalists don't have.

Get rid of the cover and the intake. Install a blower.

It is Jerez Black with black stripes. Jerez is a BMW color it looks black in some lighting conditions and very dark lightly metallic blue in others.

Frank tells me it's definitely a BMW color. Best I can determine the paint code is BMW A73. Will have to post a few more pics.
